The gallery is wallpapered from floor to ceiling with raw contact sheets, complete with editing marks and crossouts. As for subject matter: fashion, nudes and celebrity portraiture outnumber elephants, peasants and Sumo wrestlers by about twenty to one. Framed images are scattered here and there. The visual profusion underscores what Benjamin observed and Warhol embraced: ours is the age of mechanical reproduction. Repetition is the name of the game.
